Field Farm Cross Country

Field Farm is the home of Jo and Fergus Shields situated in the heart of Quorn Hunting country amongst the beautiful wolds villages of South Nottinghamshire and North Leicestershire. Field Farm is primarily an organic beef farm having just gained organic status and has 50 head of pedigree Beef Shorthorn Cattle.
 

Since moving to Field Farm in 2003 Jo and Fergus have created a cross country course which is available for hire and a small competition livery yard. Jo offers tuition and is a qualified BHSII SM instructor currently training for the final part of the BHSI. She originally trained at the well known Waterstock House training centre in 1991 under the tutelage of Lars Sederholm and Yogi Breisner.
 

Jo competes at medium and advanced medium level dressage on Blue III (owned by event rider Jo Andrews) and also events her own young event horses Midnight Park Sybero and Concerto who qualified for the 5yr old Burghley young event horse final 2008.
