Field Farm Cross Country

Field Farm is the home of Jo and Fergus Shields situated in the heart of Quorn Hunting country amongst the beautiful wolds villages of South Nottinghamshire and North Leicestershire. Field Farm is primarily an organic beef farm having just gained organic status and has 50 head of pedigree Beef Shorthorn Cattle.

Since moving to Field Farm in 2003 Jo and Fergus have created a cross country schooling course which is available for hire and a small competition livery yard.

Jo is a registered BHSII SM SE.  She originally trained at the well known Waterstock House Training Centre in 1991 under the tutelage of Lars Sederholm and Yogi Breisner.  She currently events her 2 horses, Concerto and Midnight Park Sybero at BE novice level and has also competed up to Advanced Medium level dressage on Blue III (owned by event rider Jo Andrews).

Jo offers tuition in all 3 disciplines and also towards BHS exams.  Accommodation and stabling can be provided for those wishing to come to Field Farm for intensive training towards either exams or competition.
